Paul Holsgrove

Paul Holsgrove Date of Birth: Aug 26, 1969

Son of the Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday stalwart John, young Paul started off as a youth trainee at Aldershot but after only three substitute appearances in two years moved to non-League Wokingham where he started to make a name for himself.

Paul then, famously, became Luton manager Jimmy Ryan’s only purchase during his 16 months in charge at Kenilworth Road but the tall elegant midfielder only turned out twice for the Hatters before moving on to Heracles in Holland.

Back in the U.K, Paul had some success at Reading before continuing his nomadic existence through six further League clubs in England and Scotland and then on to non-League Hayes and Windsor and Eton before a spell as assistant manager at Hayes.
