Robert Burbage
Robert Walter Burbage Date of Birth: Aug 24, 1875 Share "Robert Burbage" on FacebookBorn in Peterborough in 1875, Robert was a prolific goalscorer at local non-League level and was recruited by the Town to play in the dying embers of the club’s ill fated stay in the Football League in 1900.
He stayed on for the following campaign, the return to the Southern League, but after a few games decided to go back to non-League football having accepted a job at Bedford Queens Engineering Works.
Robert passed away in 1952.
