Jairzinho Rocky Alon Baptiste Born: 8th July 1972 From: Share "Rocky Baptiste" on FacebookOn the books of both Chelsea and Brentford as a junior, Rocky failed to make the grade at either club and instead played for a succession of non-league outfits where his goalscoring abilities increasingly caught the eye.
He probably thought his chances of League football were over though, before Luton manager Ricky Hill gave him a chance at the age of 28 in October 2000.
Sadly, the tall and skilful striker came to Kenilworth Road at a time of great turmoil on and off the pitch and made only three substitute appearances before moving back to Hayes on loan in March 2001 and then on to a further 13 senior non-League clubs before retiring in 2013 well into his forties.
