Sean Evers Date of Birth: Oct 10, 1977

A tremendous ‘box-to-box’ player with superb stamina, Sean signed professional forms for the Hatters in May 1996 shortly after making his League debut in a Luton side that was just about to be relegated from Division One.

It was, though, two years later that Sean saw scouts flock to Kenilworth Road, due to his displays in a long Worthington Cup run and a sparkling performance for the Nationwide League representative team in Italy.

Cash-strapped Hatters reluctantly accepted a £500,000 offer from Reading in March 1999 but Sean was beset with injuries at the Madejski and after a loan spell at St Johnstone joined Plymouth on a free-transfer where further injury put paid to his League career.

Since leaving Plymouth, Sean turned out for both Stevenage and Woking.
