Stuart Douglas

Stuart Douglas Date of Birth: Apr 9, 1978

Wholehearted and brave forward Stuart came up through the ranks at Kenilworth Road before making a dream League debut as a 17 year old, scoring in a 1-1 home draw with Oldham in November 1995.

Never a prolific goalscorer, Stuart was often introduced from the bench by successive Luton managers when his enthusiasm and speed troubled opposition defences late in a game.

After being loaned to both Oxford and Rushden, he was made surplus to requirements by Hatters manager Joe Kinnear in 2002. Stuart then enjoyed a couple of seasons at Boston before a spell in Finland and then back to this country with Dagenham & Redbridge.

Stuart is a qualified physiotherapist and became physio at Bournemouth.
