Stuart Fleetwood

Stuart Keith Wakley Fleetwood Date of Birth: Apr 23, 1986

Born in Gloucester, after spells at Cardiff City (where he won Wales under-17 and under-21 caps) and Hereford United, Stuart’s goalscoring really took off at Forest Green Rovers, where he scored 28 goals in 41 appearances during the 2007/08 season. A move to League One Charlton Athletic followed, but his career there never really got going and after several loan moves, in July 2010 he transferred back to Hereford United, from where he moved on to Luton a year later.

After hitting double figures in his first season at Kenilworth Road, Stuart started the 2012/13 season on fire, notching 10 league goals by the end of October. However, after dropping out of the side due to injury in mid-November, Stuart struggled to regain a regular place in the starting line-up and was eventually released by John Still at the end of the season.

After leaving Luton, Stuart played for a number of non-league sides, eventually ending his playing career at Cinderford Town in July 2023 before beginning his managerial career at Swindon Supermarine.
