Tim Allpress

Tim Allpress Date of Birth: Jan 27, 1971

Hitchin born Tim came through the youth ranks at Kenilworth Road before making his League debut for the Hatters alongside Ceri Hughes and Neil Poutch in an injury ravaged side at Aston Villa in March 1990.

Unable to dislodge Richard Harvey from the Luton defence, Tim enjoyed a loan spell at Preston and a period in Germany before moving to Colchester United in 1993. After two years at Layer Road the tall full-back had three separate spells at Hitchin Town wrapped around interludes in Hong Kong and St Albans.

Tim subsequently became a police officer stationed in Hitchin.
