Thomas Hamilton Dunsmore Date of Birth: May 23, 1914 Share "Tom Dunsmore" on FacebookBorn in Motherwell in 1914, Tommy was beginning to make a name for himself at Hibernian when Luton manager Neil McBain fought off several top flight sides to bring him the Kenilworth Road in the summer of 1938.
A two-footed full-back with a strong tackle, Tommy was an unsung hero in a Town side that just came up short in a bid to win promotion to the top flight in 1938-39.
Tommy continued to turn out for the Town during the war years but after a short spell at Albion Rovers in 1946 hung up his boots.
