Born in Luton in 1884, Thomas was turning out for Luton Clarence when he was asked to play for the Town on amateur forms in the Western League.
He made six appearances during the 1907-08 season in the half-back line but did not make it into the Southern League side.
Thomas was a straw hat polisher by trade and died as a result of wounds received in the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
