Signed professional terms with West Ham United in 1998, Adam made only 2 first team appearances in the next 4 years and was loaned out for short spells to Portsmouth, Leyton Orient and Notts County. A permanent signing for Peterborough United came in 2002 and the next 6 years saw him make 249 appearances scoring 9 goals. Falling out of favour he joined Brentford on a one year deal in 2008. He made 39 appearances scoring one goal which came against the Hatters in the final game of the 2009 season.
Manager Mick Harford signed him in the Summer of 2009 describing him as β..athletic, experienced and the kind of player that we have been looking to bring to this football club for a long time.β Harford added, βHe can get to the byline and deliver crosses and will offer us balance and width in the side,"
He would make his first and last appearance for Luton against AFC Wimbledon. His first of 66 appearances came in the 1 1 draw in August 2009. His last game was the play off final at the Etihad in 2011.
Adam signed for Woking in 2009 where he spent just over 4 seasons playing 169 times scoring 4 goals. After retiring from the game, Adam became a London taxi driver. He won seven international caps and scored one goal for Saint Kitts and Nevis between 2004 and 2015.
