Albert C Brown

Born in Bedford in 1892, Albert was picked up by the Town in the summer of 1922 after netting 28 goals in 24 games for Kettering in the Central Alliance the previous season.

The big centre-forward, who was also a Bedfordshire sprint champion, was handed a debut on the opening day of the 1922-23 campaign at home to Charlton, which coincided with the opening of the new Main Stand, but failed to impress. He spent to rest of his Luton career in the reserves before returning to Kettering.
