Luton’s board brought off a real coup when they signed this former Celtic player, who had come south looking to further his career in December 1894

Able to play in several positions, Glasgow born Collins was never on a losing side whilst playing alongside fellow Scot, Robert McCrindle

He did not re-sign for the start of 1895/96 and there is no record of him playing senior football anywhere in England or Scotland after he left Luton.
