Danny Stevens

Danny Stevens Date of Birth: Nov 26, 1986

Enfield born Danny started his career with Tottenham as a trainee from school, but failed to make the grade at White Hart Lane, and accepted an offer from Luton Town, moving to Kenilworth Road in March 2005. 

Characterised with a diminutive stature, standing at 5’4’’, Danny impressed in the youth teams with excellent ball control, speed and very brave performances, progressing into the Luton reserve side. He made his solo Luton Town appearance coming on as a substitute in the final game of the 2005/06 Championship season coming on for Dean Morgan. Danny extended his contract with Luton for a further year, but moved back to the reserve team for the remainder of his contract, failing to make any further appearances for the first team and released in the summer of 2007. 

Danny moved onto Torquay United, after impressing future Luton manager Paul Buckle during a trial, he was signed permanently, enjoying 7 seasons at Plainmoor, leaving initially after his sixth season, having trials at Leyton Orient and Aldershot, before returning for one more season with Torquay, making over 200 appearances for the Gulls, across the Conference and League 2. Danny finished his playing career with Whitehawk in the National League South.
