Eunan O'Kane

Eunan O'Kane Date of Birth: Jul 10, 1990

Born Feeny, County Londonderry, he spent two years as an Everton trainee before joining Coleraine in 2009. He went on trial to Torquay United before signing a two year deal with the Gulls in June 2010. A midfielder, Eunan played 122 times for the Gulls scoring 14 goals in League 2 (4th tier). Clubs came calling and after a move to Crawley Town fell through, League One Bournemouth secured his services in 2012. Eunan played 118 times for the Cherries as they rose to the Premier League in 2015. He made 20 appearances in the top flight.

Championship (2nd tier) Leeds United signed Eunan in 2016 and in the next two seasons he figured 58 times and earned 7 Republic of Ireland caps. However, Eunan fell out of favour and was not given a Leeds squad number in the Summer of 2018. Town manager Nathan Jones snapped him up on loan and he made his debut as a substitute against Wycombe on the 1st September. A start followed against Brighton then back to the bench against Doncaster and Bristol Rovers. It was against the “Gas” that Eunan suffered a terrible broken leg that would end his playing career.
