Fred Molyneux
Fred Molyneux Date of Birth: May 3, 1873 Share "Fred Molyneux" on FacebookBorn in Bolton in 1875, Fred joined the Grenadier Guards at 18 and after leaving the services wanted to put his football prowess to good use and had agreed terms to come to Luton in 1897 but Stoke jumped in, offering him more money.
The Town eventually got their man in 1900 but after only two games at centre-forward he was off again for more money, this time to Fulham.
His stay at Fulham was short and he ended his football career at Kidderminster.
In later life, Fred became a licensed victualler and passed away in Dudley in 1959.
