George Kidd
George Kidd Date of Birth: May 20, 1909 Share "George Kidd" on FacebookBorn in Dundee in 1909, George had a short spell at Charlton before joining Gillingham in 1931 where he established himself as a wing-half equally adept in defending and setting up attacks.
Coming to Luton in April 1935, George started the 1935-36 season as first choice left-half but a bad knee injury after only seven starts effectively ended his career.
The Town’s directors stood by him as he attempted a come-back but eventually he had to accept defeat and retire from the game.
George passed away in Tonbridge in 1988.
