Harry Reece
Harry Reece Date of Birth: Jul 26, 1911 Share "Harry Reece" on FacebookBorn in Darlaston in 1911 played for the local Town side before being picked up by Aston Villa at a young age.
Before getting a first team chance he was allowed to move to Blackpool with whom he spent over four years but making only four starts mainly in the half-back line.
Signed by the Town as understudy at full-back to Reg Kingham and Tom Mackey he had to bide his time but when he got the chance he proved to be a quick and sturdy defender and a more than adequate replacement.
After making only 14 starts in his second season he declined a new contract and moved to Barrow in 1935 and from there to Worcester City and then full circle back to Darlaston Town.
Harry passed away in 1981.
