Henry Kingham

Born in Harpenden in 1904, Reg was an accomplished full-back, plying his trade at St Albans when he was signed on by the Town in 1926.

After a period in the reserves, Reg became a fixture in the Luton side as a clever, thoughtful right-back and had racked up exactly 250 appearances by the time he called it a day in 1937.

Skipper for much of his time at the club, a crowd favourite and beneficiary of a testimonial match against Watford in 1936, Reg earned the status of ‘legend’ at Kenilworth Road.

After leaving Luton, Reg had short spells at Yeovil and Worcester leading up to the War before sadly passing away at a young age in 1948.
