James Alexander Owen Moore Date of Birth: Jun 20, 1877 Share "James Moore" on FacebookBorn in Middlesbrough in 1877, James had played for the amateur Middlesbrough club with whom he had won the FA Amateur Cup in 1898.
James joined professional club Luton with teammate James Kemplay in August 1898 and was a regular in Town’s Football League side in 1898-99 playing at left-back.
Declining a new contract at the season’s end he returned to Middlesbrough with Kemplay, later becoming a steel works labourer and passing away in 1955.
