Jamie Woodsford

Jamie Woodsford Date of Birth: Nov 9, 1976

Ipswich born Jamie joined Luton from school and made his way up through the youth ranks at Kenilworth Road before signing professional forms in March 1995.

A quick and clever striker, Jamie made his League debut coming on as substitute in a 1-0 win at Port Vale in September 1994 and with an England Youth international call-up following swiftly afterwards his career seemed set.

Sadly, Jamie could not then manage to push his way into the League eleven on a regular basis and despite being loaned out to Portadown for first team experience he was eventually forced to accept the inevitable.

Jamie then went to work for Royal Mail.
