John Bramwell

John Bramwell Date of Birth: Mar 1, 1937

Tough tackling full-back John came to Luton as part of the deal that took Billy Bingham to Everton in October 1960.

Starting off with Wigan, John then moved to Goodison Park where he enjoyed a good run in the Toffees Division One side. On coming to Kenilworth Road he was virtually ever present for five seasons and was even watched by the England selectors on one occasion such was his form in a struggling Hatters side.

John left Luton as the club slid into Division Four in 1965 and joined Rugby Town for a brief stint before emigrating to Australia.
