John Brown Share "John Brown" on FacebookBorn in Motherwell in 1876, John had built up a good reputation as a centre-forward of note having played for Hearts, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough before coming to Luton in August 1901.
The intended partnership with Jimmy Blessington was not as prolific as hoped for and after
one season he departed for Kettering.
