Kevin John Richard Nicholls Date of Birth: Jan 2, 1979

Strong tackling midfielder Kevin began his career as a trainee at Charlton and skippered the England youth teams at under-18, under-19 and under-20 levels. After 12 League appearances for the Addicks and a loan spell at Brighton a £250,000 move to big spending Wigan in 1999 was not a success but a transfer to Luton two years later proved more to his liking with his enthusiasm and leadership soon making him a firm favourite at Kenilworth Road.

After overseeing two promotions for the Town it came as a disappointment when he moved to Leeds for £700,000 in 2006 but after a spell at Preston he returned to Kenilworth Road to skipper the Hatters to the Johnstones’ Paint Trophy win over Scunthorpe.

Injury forced an early retirement from the game leading to Kevin becoming a players agent.
