Luke Gambin

Luke David Gambin Date of Birth: Mar 16, 1993

Born in Sutton, Luke started his career with the AFC Wimbledon academy. He moved to North London in 2009 joining Barnet as an apprentice, making his first professional appearance for the Bees against his former club Wimbledon in 2012.

He would go on to make 115 appearances for Barnet scoring 15 goals, having loan spells at Hemel Hempstead and Hendon along the way. Luke achieved international recognition making 36 appearances for the Malta National Team, scoring once.

In January 2017, Luke joined Luton Town on a two and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee. His debut came just 5 days after signing, in a 1-1 draw away at Wycombe, scoring his first goal in a 3-0 win over Hartlepool one month later. Luke quickly fell down the pecking order at Kenilworth Road, spending the majority of the 2017/18 season on bench, and then the 2018/19 season on loan at Crawley before being released at the end of his contract.

Since Luton he has gone on to play for Colchester, Newport, Ħamrun Spartans, Sutton and Hayes and Yeading.
