Paul Gray

Paul Robert Gray Date of Birth: Jan 28, 1970

Signed by Luton on youth trainee forms, the Portsmouth born forward was offered a professional contract in June 1988 four months after making his first team debut in a Simod Cup win at Everton.

Paul eventually made his League debut, coming on as substitute in a 2-3 defeat at Arsenal in December 1989, before netting on his home debut against Coventry three months later.

Finding it difficult to win a regular place in the side, the Northern Ireland under-21 international went to Wigan in 1991 but failed to make the grade at Springfield Park and drifted out of the game after appearing for Bangor and Ards in Ireland.
