Reuben Mileman
Reuben John Mileman Date of Birth: Oct 1, 1866 Share "Reuben Mileman" on FacebookBorn in Luton in 1866, Reuben was playing for Luton Albany when he was invited for a trial by the Town at the start of the 1887-88 season.
A talented goalkeeper, he became the Town’s first regular ‘custodian’ since the club’s formation and it is therefore a mystery why, after an FA Cup defeat to Old Brightonians in November 1888 where no blame was apportioned nor injury reported, that he never played again.
Reuben was reported to be in Deptford working as a packing case maker in 1891 and passed away in Islington in 1935.
