Roy Davies
Roy Davies Date of Birth: Aug 23, 1924 Share "Roy Davies" on FacebookCape Town born Roy decided to try his luck in the U.K and after unsuccessful trials at Manchester City joined Clyde where he soon built up a solid reputation as a quick two-footed winger.
Snapped up by the Hatters in May 1951, Roy went on to give sterling service over the next six years with only a succession of injuries preventing him from being one of the first names on the first team list.
A fast bowler for Bedfordshire and a good golfer, Roy finished his football career with Bedford Town but died tragically young at the age of only 49.
