Born in Bristol, Tristian started out with Bristol City but never made their first team. A winger, he was loaned to the Hatters at the start of the 2008 minus 30 point season. He started just one game against Reading in the League Cup, a 5 1 defeat. 7 other appearances were all as substitute with one goal scored against Plymouth Argyle in the League Cup.

Tristian returned to Bristol City where he was loaned out 3 more time before leaving in 2011. A short spell in Portugal was followed by many non league teams such as Hereford United twice, Weston-Super-Mare three times and Aldershot twice. Last seen playing for Frome Town in 2019.
