Wayne Biggins

Wayne Biggins Date of Birth: Nov 20, 1961

A strong and powerful striker, Sheffield born Wayne scored goals for nine League clubs, as well as making a surprise move to Glasgow Celtic, over a long playing career.

It was while at Stoke that Wayne enjoyed his most prolific scoring run and it was from that club, while in his second spell there, that he came to Luton Town in January 1995 on loan.

Signed to strengthen the Luton forward line following the sale of John Hartson to Arsenal, Wayne scored once in seven appearances before returning to Stoke after the Hatters signed John Taylor on a permanent deal.

Wayne then turned out for a variety of non-League clubs and on hanging up his boots went on to run a pallet business.
