my five favourite players:
martin watson

Martin Watson is the latest to pick his five favourite Hatters.

"I am a vicar in the Church of England. A Luton fan since my first game which was Luton 7 Oxford 4 in February 1988 which I went to with my school at the time. I sit in the Kenilworth End with my son Joseph and friends, Graham, Dave, Paul and Debbie. I have had a season ticket since leaving Uni in 2000. I have seen some incredible games and have thoroughly enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions that is being a Luton Town fan."

(395 APPEARANCES, 27 goals 1984-1995)

"Quite simply the best player I have seen play for us. Heartbeat of what was a great midfield in the 80's and early 90's. Iconic for the goal and celebration against Cardiff in the FA Cup."

scott oakes
(200 appearances, 34 goals 1991-1996)

"Here for two games. Firstly the goal against Derby where he beat almost the entire defence. The best goal I have ever seen. The second is the hat-trick against West Ham in the cup. A simply brilliant performance on a night that is up there with the best night I have ever had watching Luton."

mark tyler
(297 appearances, 2009-2016)

"Always reliable. Massive part of getting us out of the conference. Never felt like he would throw one in unlike some keepers we have had over the years."

marvin johnson
(439 appearances, 10 goals 1987-2002)

"Exciting to watch. Popped up with key goals at key moments. Bleeds orange and always gave everything."

pelly-ruddock mpanzu
(402 appearances, 23 goals 2013-current)

"What can you say about Pelly that hasn't already been said? Absolute legend. Always gives his all. Key reason for the success of the last 10 years."

Many thanks to Martin for taking the time to put together his list and the excellent choices.
