Harold Fitzpatrick Date of Birth: Dec 19, 1880

Harold (Harry) John FITZPATRICK

Born in Ayr in 1880, John joined the Scottish Regiment ‘Gordon Highlanders’ where he was a star forward for the regiment team.

The Town did well to encourage him to come to Luton in 1906 where, after a short settling in period, he was a revelation in the forward line which attracted the attentions of Liverpool who paid a ‘sizeable’ fee for his services at the season’s end.

Sadly, it did not work out at Anfield and after a season he was off to Chesterfield Town where he was a little more successful.
