Patrick Gallacher

Patrick Gallacher Date of Birth: Mar 17, 1882

Born in Glasgow in 1882, Patrick was playing for top Scottish junior side Duntacher Hibs when offers from Sunderland and Tottenham came in.

He picked the latter but was unable to win a first team spot so moved to Luton with Alf Warner in August 1905 and took part in the opening game at Kenilworth Road.

A right winger who could also play in midfield he enjoyed a good run in the side in 1905-06 but was used more sparingly the following season at the end of which he decided to move to Ton Pentre and continued playing until the First World War.
