Ernest Lomax
Ernest Lomax Date of Birth: Oct 7, 1866 Share "Ernest Lomax" on FacebookBorn in Bury in 1866, EH was sent, along with his brothers, to board at St John’s College in Luton and, as a full or half-back of talent played for Luton Wanderers until he became a founder member of the Town club in 1885.
He played regularly for the Town, quite often in the forward line, until 1890 when injury cut short his career.
EH was convicted of fraud in 1898 and fled the country never to be seen or heard of again.
