John Moody

John Moody

Born in Luton in 1867, John played for Luton Albany from 1884 with future Town players Walter Miller and Bert Sanders and acted as Club Treasurer.

Made his Town debut in a friendly against Olympians in November 1886 at centre-half and completed a competitive first start away to Chatham in the 1887-88 FA Cup.

John alternated between the first team and reserves in the following seasons before making his final appearance in the final of the Kettering Charity Cup in 1890.
