 The centre of the pitch is a bog after the ground staff had overdone the pre-match watering. A poor match results, with the Blues just about deserving their win. Kerry Dixon, with a header, bags the first goal, and Mal Donaghy slices the ball into his own net when under pressure from Pat Nevin.
