Luton Town FC vs Queens Park Rangers (9th Dec 1972)

Barry Butlin scores on his debut for the Town when heading home a corner from Aston in the tenth minute. The Hoops dominate thereafter and “old boy” Don Givens gets on the scoresheet. The floodlights go out with the score at 2-2 but, after a 15 minute delay, the early sparkle is lost.
