A new manager and some new players but the same old pretty football with no bite. Norwich, who were relegated last season, take the lead through Jon Newsome. Guentchev pulls one back from the spot after Danny Mills fouls Alexander, but Newsome puts the Canaries back into the lead with a free header almost immediately. Neil Adams fires in from 25 yards to make the game safe.
