Boro are all over the Town for the first 15 minutes and lead through a header from Bernie Slaven. A miss-hit shot by Colin Cooper just before the interval leaves the Hatters with a mountain to climb, although Wilson does pull a goal back from the spot after Wegerle is fouled by Cooper.
