Wycombe come for a point but, after the Town break the deadlock, they are unable to change their style. Hughes crosses to Thorpe who knocks the ball on for Spring to hammer in a shot from a narrow angle. Wycombe’s Lawrie Sanchez amazingly feels that his side were deserving winners.
