**Two second half goals send the Bees through to round 3. Davis is yellow carded following a goalmouth melee after Ben May goes in hard on Marlon Beresford. Brentford stand firm in the face of Hatters’ pressure, and take the lead when Isaiah Rankin seizes on an uncharacteristic slip by Davies to send in a shot which is blocked, the ball falling to Chris Hargreaves who makes no mistake. Rankin sets up Jay Tabb for the second a minute from time.
