The Town have a disastrous first half, with Preece limping off with an ankle injury and Waddock being dismissed for bringing down the goal-bound Andy Scott. Luton pull back from 1-4 to 3-4, a great save by Alan Kelly from Dixon denying an equaliser, before they run out of steam.
